Reading the AI hype cycle for industrial

For manufacturing and industrial IoT leaders who need to pressure-test claims without becoming reflexively dismissive.

The hype-cycle trap in industrial AI is binary thinking: either AI replaces operators and engineers or it is useless.

The better question is where AI reduces search cost, comparison cost, documentation cost, or review latency while preserving operational accountability.

A claim is more credible when it names the workflow boundary and the failure mode.
